Moulin du Broukay is not a mill, but an old flint crushing facility. It was built in the 1950s, designed and constructed by Robert Garcet, a stonemason from Hainaut. It was a crusher for flint, a stone typical of this area, which was formed millions of years ago when the region was covered by the sea.

Waste from flint cutting was crushed here, as well as pebbles imported from Normandy. These were transported by train to Bassenge station and then by truck to Eben-Emael. We are therefore standing on a former industrial site that was once a flint quarry.

Located in the heart of a former flint and tuffeau stone quarry, the Broukay restaurant is firmly rooted in the social and local economy.

It offers a welcoming space open to all, where you can enjoy traditional dishes prepared by two renowned chefs. Dining at the Broukay restaurant means participating in a socio-professional reintegration project.

Created in 1999, the Centre d'Art Fantastique pursues the objectives of openness and promotion of art. It showcases creativity in the Eben Ezer park, where the natural environment plays an integral part in the creative process.

It presents itself as a forum for meetings and exchanges of art and ideas between artists, academics, artists' studios and artistic associations.

The Broukay Mill invites you to discover unique nature through 4 themed family walks, presented in the form of games.

Geologium encompasses the entire geological history of Broukay, the industrial exploitation of flint and tuffeau stone, natural recolonisation and the development of sites for educational, cultural, leisure and discovery purposes. Starting at the Moulin du Broukay, a former flint crushing facility, visitors can discover the landscapes and traces left by human activity.

As they walk along, visitors learn about the flora and fauna of the limestone grasslands, visit an old flint mine, and pass through the old quarries to reach the Eben-Ezer Tower, a seven-storey building constructed entirely of flint in the early 1950s. They then discover the rock shelter and learn about the use of flint in prehistoric times.

At Moulin du Broukay, there are two courses where you can enjoy golf in the open air. The mini golf course offers a variety of accessible holes, ideal for families and groups of friends.

Golf Sylvestre takes place in a natural setting, with trees and trails, for a different experience where nature becomes a playground.

These activities are open to everyone: families, groups, or schools. They offer a simple and friendly outdoor leisure experience in the heart of a natural setting.

Courses are offered for children and teenagers during the school holidays. They combine games, creative activities and discoveries, allowing children to have fun while learning.

Each course allows children to take part in different activities and share moments with other children in a relaxed atmosphere.

It is in the green and peaceful setting of the Village of Eben-Emael that we welcome schools to enjoy a unique experience together in the heart of the Geer Valley.

During your stay with us, you will be accommodated at Ferme du Broukay, an old farmhouse that has been restored and refurbished, on the outskirts of the village. The activities offered in our programme will take place at Moulin du Broukay, where meals will also be served.

In the shadow of Robert Garcet's Tower, the Art-Pierre-Terre festival brings light, shapes and colours to life in the fantastic setting of Eben Ezer Park. Artists, former exhibitors and amateur artists provide participants with support throughout the event.

The aim of this gathering is to forge personal and institutional relationships, encourage exchange, promote young artists, and establish spaces for collective creation on an annual basis.
